Success with Inception, Leonardo DiCaprio is back to challenge his ability to play as an assassin in The Devil in the White City. The film is adapted from the bestselling non-fiction novel by Eric Larson with the title The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic and Madness at the Fair That Changed America.
As reported by the Aceshowbiz (2.11), if so playing in this film, Leo will play Herman Webster Mudgett aka H. H. Holmes, a man who killed 27 people and possibly up to 200 people were victims in 1893 when the first world festival held in Chicago.
In addition to Leo, Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise is also rumored to be filling that role. But the Titanic star was so eager to portray H. H. Holmes to create similar projects and in the end have the right to adapt the book into a movie.
